Emergency Assist Panic Button

Emergency Assist is a voice free panic button that is connected to a Contact Centre and is linked to the following services:

Emergency Medical Assist (EMS)

In the event of a medical emergency,  a crisis manager will immediately dispatch a road or air ambulance, staffed by qualified emergency medical care practitioners. Life-saving support will be provided to the patient and, where relevant, transfer provided to the closest applicable medical facility.  The service includes the following:

  • Inter-hospital transfer
  • Medical repatriation
  • Escorted return of minors
  • Compassionate visits
  • Medical advice and information
  • 24/7 telephonic advice and information
  • Referrals to crisis lines
  • Referrals to medical practitioners
  • Referrals to medical facilities
  • Trauma Counselling

Roadside Assist

Access to the following services in the event of a roadside emergency:

  • Flat battery - jump start (battery replacement - for the subscriber's own account)
  • Assistance with changing a flat tyre
  • Keys locked in vehicle (unlocking only)
  • Fuel assistance (limited to five litres per incident)
  • Minor roadside-running repairs (electrical, coil, immobilizer etc.)
  • Transmission of urgent messages
  • Tow-in service to the nearest approved dealership (if under warranty), repair centre or panel beater in the event of:

    - Mechanical breakdown

    - Electrical breakdown

    - Accident damage - cost covered to the nearest approved panel beater

  • For breakdowns more than 100km from home (on the condition that towing is arranged via the assistance call centre):

    - Overnight accommodation for the main member and four passengers OR

    - 24-hour, Group-B car rental subject to availability and the driver being in possession of a valid credit card and driver's license

  • In the event that the member's vehicle is left for repairs, the programme will pay a limited amount toward a 24-hour Group B car rental (subject to availability and the driver being in possession of a valid credit card and driver's license) or a flight ticket to collect the vehicle after repairs.

Please note: This cover excludes all vehicles over 3 500kg, trailers, caravans and boats. Members will not be entitled to service where the vehicle is not in a roadworthy condition. Any costs incurred through arrangements made by the member without prior authorisation shall not be reimbursed. Assistance is only available in South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland. These services are limited to a specific amount per service, per event, per annum.

Legal Assist

The Legal Advice service is a broad-based legal assistance service provided by qualified lawyers and includes the following:

  • A 24-hour telephonic advice line
  • A legal document service
  • Letter of demand
  • Find a Lawyer

Legal Advice

Subscribers have on-going access to a 24-hour legal advisory service on any aspect of the law such as criminal law, family law, insurance law, child law, labour law, motor law, etc. The subscriber is entitled to utilise the service as frequently as required, provided that the assistance is provided directly to the subscriber and only on legal matters pertaining to the subscriber in his or her personal capacity.


Legal Document Service

Subscribers will, upon request, be provided with purchase/sale/lease agreements, power of attorney and wills. In addition, the subscriber will be advised on the application of each of these documents and the procedures and principles that apply.


Letter of demand

A letter of demand will be written on behalf of the subscriber and is limited to 1 letter per event.


Find a Lawyer

If a matter is of such a nature that the subscriber considers litigation, a legal team of experts will assess all the facts and circumstances and research the matter thoroughly in order to ascertain how a case should be approached.  The legal team will suggest 2 attorney firms best suited to the case.  This benefit includes expert investigation and research into the matter, thus empowering a subscriber to make the correct decision when choosing an attorney.

These services are limited to a specific amount per service, per event, per annum.


Home Drive

Home Drive will take the subscriber and their vehicle home safely.

  • Home Drive offers four free trips per annum.  The annual period is calculated from subscription date
  • Covered for a round trip of 50 km's from the Home Drive Base Station to the collection point and then to the drop off point
  • Home Drive will record all free trips
  • The four free trips provide a 50km round trip from the Home Drive Base Station to the collection point and then to the drop off point
  • From the 1st to the 4th trip, any mileage greater than 50km on any one of the trips, is charged at R15 per km
  • The fifth trip will cost the member R240 per 30km round trip from the Home Drive Base Station to the collection point and then to the drop off point (any mileage greater than 30km on this trip, is charged at R15 per km)
  • The sixth trip, (and any additional after than within the annual period) will cost the member R320 per 30km round trip from the Home Drive Base Station to the collection point and then to the drop off point (any mileage greater than 30km on any one of these trips, is charged at R15 per km)
  • Home Drive requires pre-bookings

  • - Preferable to book a day or two before the event

    - Ad hoc or last minute request will be accommodate on a best-effort basis and subscribers should expect a potential time delay of one hour as this is subject to the availability of a standby team

    - Pre-bookings need to be made before 5PM on the day prior to a public holiday

    - A subscriber will be requested to provide the following:

    - Name/cell phone/date and time of collection required

    - Collection and drop off address

    - Credit or Debit cards details including - name on card, card number,  expiry date and CCV number

    - If the subscriber exceeds the stipulated distance, either on the free or subsequent trips, the additional mileage charge will be applied and will be debited the following day.

    - The Home Drive taxi will issue the subscriber with the trip details receipt at the conclusion of the trip, which will be used to calculate any additional expenses

    - The subscriber will be notified via SMS that the driver has arrived at the specified location.  In addition, the driver will call the subscriber

    - The subscriber will have 15 minutes to meet the driver

    - If the subscriber fails to meet the driver in the allotted time, a free trip will be forfeited or a cancellation fee applied.

    - Cancellation fees:

    > 2 hours prior to booked collection time = FREE

    < 1 hour prior to booked collection time = R160

    Within the hour of booked collection time = R320

  • Home Drive service is available in the following cities & towns:


    - Johannesburg (Base Station - Craighall Park)

    - Pretoria (Base Station - Preller Street)

    - Cape Town (CBD)

    - Durban (CBD)

    - George (CBD)

    - Port Elizabeth (CBD)

    - Nelspruit (CBD)

    - East London (CBD)

    - Bloemfontein (CBD)

    - Kimberley (CBD)

    - Polokwane (CBD)

  • The Home Drive service is available to the valid paid-up subscriber and limited to the vehicle registered on the program only.
  • Up to three additional passengers can be transported at no additional cost, provided that the entire trip is no longer than 50km and on the same route to the member's home address.
  • Additional passengers must be included in the booking, failing which an additional fee of R50 per additional passenger will apply.
  • If driving the additional passengers requires the round trip to be greater than the 50km (free trips) or the 30km (charged trips), then the additional R15 per kilometer will apply

Home Assist

In the event of a home emergency, the following services will be provided:

  • Locksmiths
  • Electricians
  • Plumbers
  • Glaziers
  • Other domestic emergency service providers
  • Emergency notifications to police, ambulance, fire brigade or any other emergency service

These services are limited to a specific amount per service, per event, per annum.


General Assist

  • Additional revenue stream - revenue share available to companies who would like to on-sell the service
  • Website & mobile application can be white labelled to incorporate the company CI
